pinoypi77 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	GSD File- 313-6CF03-0AB0 for CPU 313C-2 DP Hi people, could anyone help me in finding the gsd for the above cpu? i already tried www.ad.siemens.de/support, to no avail. I'm currently using Simatic Manager s7 v5.4, which doesn't have the above file in its library. Thanks in advance!

HOWEVER, i've encountered an error when i'm trying to Download my project to the PLC: ----------------------- Date: 04/23/2007 time: 04:52:17 PM Compile: test2\SIMATIC 300(2)\CPU 313C-2 DP\Connections -> Object was compiled without errors Date: 04/23/2007 time: 04:52:22 PM Download: test2\SIMATIC 300(2)\Hardware -> Error occurred downloading the object The block/op. sys. update is too large. Cannot load SDB 4. The system data cannot be loaded to module CPU 313C-2 DP - (R0/S2) of station SIMATIC 300(2). Look under details or try to determine the cause for the problem using the diagnostic buffer of the module. ----------------------------------- It's a basic program just to test my CPU, OB1 with no ladder in it. I don't have any Siemens MMC installed on the CPU. I guess I need an MMC in order to operate the CPU, problem is at the moment i dont have one. I have1 question: *** IF I DONT HAVE A SIEMENS MMC, CAN I USE THE NORMAL MMC, IF YES WHAT 'TWEAKING' SHOULD I DO? (coz i tried putting a normal, FAT/FAT32 formatted MMC but whenever i do this and the MMC installed on the CPU, the PC cannot even communicate with it, "no connection". Pardon me for this long paragraphs, i hope SOMEONE answers.

No you need to put aSIMATIC MMC into the CPU. You can not use the PCL without a SIMATIC MMC. A normal MMC is not working. Note: if you format a SIMATIC MMC with standard Windows functions, it can't be used with the PLC any more! Use for all SIMATIC MMC actions the STEP 7 Software.
