PCS7 Single station configuration on VM

Do a PG/PC interface to "PC internal local" and configure and download it.
Later you change it to PLCSIM protocol

I am using a VM to setup an ES/OS single station test project however I am not able to configure the PC Station. Please see my steps below and let me know if you have any suggestions of the issue. 

1. I'm using VMware Workstation Pro 16
   1. Host name: PCS7ES01
   2. I am able to successfully ping the computer from the command prompt
2. I use the project wizard to setup ES/OS single station. I am using PLCSIM to simulate CPU as I do not have the physical hardware
3. Once wizard is complete I rename the AS and go through hardware configuration
   1. I select PS-407, CPU-417-4 and CP-443-1
   2. I create an ethernet node and give CP an IP address 10.10.102.99 and setup a subnet called ethernet(1)
   3. Save and compile
   4. Note: I am able to download to CPU via PLCSIM, PG/PC interface is PLCSIM.ISO.1
4. I rename the PC Station to the host name of computer PCS7ES01
5. Go to PC Station configuration and add WinCC application to slot 1 and IE general V8.2 to slot 2
6. I address IE general to 10.10.102.1 which is the ethernet address of VM and save and compile
7. I go to Netpro and create S7 connection between WinCC application and AS CPU
8. When I try to configure the PC Station PLC-> configure the use configured computer name does not populate so I don't have anything to configure? 

I think I am doing something wrong when setting the IP address for the IE general but I do not know what IP address to use other than the one for the network adapter. As I said I am pinging the VM via the host name PCS7ES01 but when I go to configure the PC Station there are no accessible computers on any network.
