SIMATIC MANAGER counter more than 32000

Hi All,

Just want your kind support, I tried to use same attached logic to count more than 32000 in Simatic Manager ( instead of clock Hz I put my sensor) but I faced an issue which it once the sensor be active the ADD DI will continue counting (it will not stop, stop just when sensor be deactivated) so I need your support to solve this issue.

Use the logic exactly as on the picture. But change M bits addresses to something unused. The contact with input address is for the sensor.

 I am using SIMATIC MANAGER, I tried as you said but my issue that the sensor is counting the finished product so the product will stay around 1 second or some times more and during this period the ADD will continue adding 1 it's not stopping.

 This what I did, 

Looks fine to me. A remark - you use DINT addition, so you should use a double word address, e.g. MD10.

Possible reasons:

• M50.0 is used somewhere else,
• MW10 is used somewhere else,
• Input is flickering.

What puzzles me is that even the addition box is inactive, the counter gets incremented.

 Thanks for your support, but now I have other concern ^^ is it related with memory clock?? It's worked with me just once I deactivated the memory clock.

So in this case I will not be able to use both of them together?

 what M area is your PLC's clock memory defined to? That will give you the answer you are looking for.

 what M area is your PLC's clock memory defined to? That will give you the answer you are looking for.

 M300 used for clock memory, and for my program I was using M50.0 but what's happening is the positive edge will be active for ms after the input is triggered, but once I deactivated the clock memory then the same program worked smoothly, to be honestly I am not sure if there is a relation or no, but this what happened with me.
