It seems like you have some version mismatches with Node-Red and NodeJS on your device.

• Accessing via browser it says V2.2.2
• Accessing via command line says V4.0.8 with NodeJS V18.20.6

Is it possible you have installed one version locally via package manager? These double-installation can cause some instababilites.

Which Example Image are you using? I would recommend you to set up a new SD card with a fresh image.

The inabilty to install your node-red-node-mysql could be caused by:

• versiopn mismatches between Node-Red and NodeJS
• Network or DNS issues (no access to npm repositories)
• corrupted or incomplete installation of Node-Red
