Hello everyone, My name is Carlos de Arriba and I am a vocational training teacher at an educational center in the Canary Islands (Spain). I want to tell you about my experience of several days fighting with this device in case it helps someone. Thanks to colleagues in this forum and other external people we have managed to configure the image on the IOT2050 SM (6ES7647-0CA00-1AA2). I have used the IOT2050 manual (07/2024 A5E39456816-AF) and IOT2050 Firmware Update V1.4.x (V3.0 | 01/2025). I add a document of my experience "Puesta en marcha IOT2050 SM" (in Spanish) that may help and complement what exists. I would like to highlight several points of interest based on my experience for this IOT2050 model. 1- It is better to use USB than micro SD for flashing. 2- Win32DiskImagen did not create images that I could later access with PUTTY. I used the BalenaEtcher and it worked perfectly. 3- The orange STAT LED when it remains fixed means that it is ok. It is not described in the manual. 4- When you access an image for the first time. You put root/root, the OS can cut the connection with PUTTY. You have to change the password very quickly. There the system is stable and does not cut off communication. 5- If you do a firmware update to USB or micro SD, and then flash the internal eMMC. The version is updated. With the aim of adding to the community so that others can do it in less time. Time is the most important thing we have. Thank you
