I have an issue with a simulation. I use Tia Portal v20 and I created a simple HMI project with an MTP400 unified basic panel. I compiled, no error and warning. When I start the simulation, I get thie message:
 

"Start downloading to device.,6/7/2025,3:08:27 PM
    HMI_1,6/7/2025,3:08:54 PM
        Online connection to HMI_RT_1 failed.,6/7/2025,3:08:54 PM
Action canceled before download.,6/7/2025,3:08:54 PM"

Basic and comfort panels work well.

Hi,

I wrote a reply last week on this post but for some reason I can't see it so I'll write it again.

I'm currently having the same problem as ghhgkjlkékjlghj, I've been trying to install TIA Portal V20 on a virtual machine but at first I encountered a problem with the simulation that said that the runtime version mismatched even though I had installed the version V20 upd2 alongside the upd2 for TIA Portal.
I tried reinstalling the runtime version but nothing changed, then I decided to reinstall the TIA Portal completely.

After the installation of TIA Portal V20 without updates, the simulation worked just fine, but after adding the updates 2 it broke again, this time showing the same error mentioned in this post.

I tried uninstalling and installing the runtime version multiple times but nothing changed, at this point I don't know what to try anymore.
