Note

Pay attention to the software requirements specified for each Support Package (for example, for STEP 7 Professional V19 this means that at least STEP 7 Professional V19 or a higher Service Pack of version V19 must be installed).

Sample Installation of HSP in the TIA Portal

1. Open the target TIA Portal version with administrator rights.
2. Select “Options > Support packages” from the menu. The “Additional information > Installation of support packages” dialog box opens.
3. Click the “Add from file system” button.
4. Select the directory of the relevant setup file (i.e. “HSP_V19_0441_001_ET200SP_e-STARTER_1.0.isp19” ) in the file system.
5. Click “Open”. The file is added in the TIA Portal.
6. Activate the relevant HSP (i.e. “HSP0441 ET200SP e-STARTER 1.0") in the “Additional information” dialog.
7. Click the “Install” button. A dialog box opens.
8. Click “Next”. Installation starts.

Result

After successful installation, the “Detailed information” dialog shows the “HSP0441 ET200SP e-STARTER 1.0” as installed.
