with V20 Upd 3 you can now use an automatic Alarm line in WinCC Unified:

be sure you have set your unified comfort Panel to Device Version V20.0.0.2

Take a look at the chapter 3.1.5.3. "Use Case: Alarm Line Custom Solution" in the Engineering Guideline for WinCC Unified.

you can set up the alarm view also to look like an alarm line. of course you have to set many parameters and hide a lot of things but it works, I used it since v16 also as an alarm line but from v20 there is a predefined control and you do not have to put much efford in creating it
