I recently received the IOT2050 SM FS:01 to control S7-1200 PLC modules, for flashing the OS I used a 16 GB sd card and the image V01.04.04-iot2050-image-example-iot2050-debian-iot2050.wic.img.zip (855,0 MB)(SHA-256). After inserting the sd card and powering on the IOT, its STAT light goes full green(10 sec), then blinks green(10 sec), and then the light turns off(5 sec) and then goes full orange(not red). I cannot ping the IOT across ethernet using IP: 192:168:200:1. I have also tried the higher version of the image and the same happens. With the other images such as IOT2050_Example_Image_V1.1.1.zip (658,6 MB)(SHA-256) the STAT light just goes red. Thank you for your time, hope you can help. |

Hello hans_erik_kulla, the remaining orange LED indicates that an EIO firmware update is required, thats nothing problematic. As soon as you can access your device just use the command:
With the next reboot the orange LED should no longer appear. That being said I think your device is booting correctly but we have an issue with accessing it. The IOT2050 is pre-configured with IP 192.168.200.1 on eno1. It's important that your PC is in the same subnet (e.g., 192.168.200.x, netmask 255.255.255.0). Can you verify that your network connections to the IOT2050 are 100% correct? You can also share them with us. Are the LED's at the ethernet port eno1 are blinking? You can also use eno2 as it is pre-configured for DHCP and get the correct IP of the IOT from your router. Otherwise you can also use the serial connection interface under the heat shield to connect directly and to also see the u-boot output. But I would assume that the device is booting correctly. What tool did you use for flashing the image? BR |
