Communication Between SIMATIC S7-315-2DP (Master) and S7-313C-2DP (Slave) via Profibus DP

zara Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone.... Please help me solve the following problem I'm trying to establish master -slave communication between these two PLCs for a week now. And it doesn't work. When S7-315-2DP is master after I switch it to RUN it shows sytem error and goes to STOP mode. I have the same problem when S7-315-2DP is slave. Hi, When you start up one of the two CPUs then the other is not ready there, so watch the diagnostic buffer, the most change is there that OB86 is called or OB82. OB86 is for detecting a slave is falled out, because the slave will be not directly ready OB86 will be called, after some seconds the slave must be ready.. It could be also that the slave isn't parametrized well, please place the hardware configuration on the forum so that I could look what is done.

Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Hello zara, I agree with Late, you should put the OB 82,86 and maybe the OB 85 to the PLC Program of the Master CPU. Still, the best would be to post the Project so we could take a look onto it, to see what is going on there. Stay calm.

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 5/11/2025 Posts: 2705 Rating: (321)	Dear Forum writers, Please don't overwelm the questionair not with useless Organisation Blocks, when you put OB85 in the CPU then you don't need any other fault-OB, but thats not what you want. When using RSE {Report System Error} then all the needed blocks are generated and you could also look with theSTEP7 Manager to the CPU-Messages.....

zara Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi people! I didn't think you would reply me so fast Thanks for helping! Here goes more information about my problem.... The error occurred when OB82,OB85,OB86, OB87, OB121, OB122 and of course OB1 were included in master's (315-2DP) and slave's (313C-2DP) program. Yesterday after I've put the post I tried to establish communication between 316-2DP (master) and 313C-2DP(slave) and 316-2DP did the same thing as 315-2DP in previous case. After I switched it into RUN mode it went into STOP mode and the same system error was shown : STOP caused by parameter assignment error or unpermissible between preset and actual configuration. The whole time 313C-2DP (slave in both cases) stayed into RUN mode and system error lamp lighted. I've attached project so take a look. Best regards, zara Attachment zad02_06.zip (754 Downloads)

Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Dear zara, well, I could not find any problem in the configuration, but I would recommend to try the following: 1. Check if the CPU versions used are the latest ones. The latest versions for both CPUs have the Version 2.0.12. Please update if required. 2. Remove the CP 341 from the CPU and the configuration, if the Problem still appears we should contact Customer Support. Stay calm.

I'll try with 2SIMATIC 315-2DP and I post the result.(for the moment I can't find S7-313-2dp.) Best regards umencho

zara Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hellloooouuuu I solved the problem On the same rail I had power supply, CPU-315-2DP, CP 341 conected with wires. I also had another CP 341 just placed on the rail..not connected with wires so I didn't configure it. And that was a problem. the more stupid problem is - equally more time needed to gain result Thanks for everything..and sorry for bothering bye
