Alarm message in WinCC

kitofix Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, we have a problem with PCS7 V6.0 + SP1 + Hotfix1 / WinCC V6.0 + SP2 + Hotfix 2. The computer on which those softwares are installed is linked with a S7-400-FH system through a CP1613 card. We have sometimesthe following messages in the Alarm Viewer"Loss of redundancy link ID 0" or "Link Failure ID 0" : we don't know why this message is coming and what it means(the link ID 0 does not exist) and how to make it disappear easily... For the moment, the only way we have found is to make a full loading of the PCS7 project into the 2 S7-400-FH system CPUsbut it implies that we have to stop both CPUs !!! For example, this message come sometimes after a reboot of the computer but not everytime we restart it... Can anyone help us ? Thank you in advance

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi kitofix, well, first I´d install on my system a newer PCS7 SP: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19160867 Are there any strange messages in the WinCC - diagnose log files? You can find them on your PC at c:\program files\siemens\wincc\diagnose Are there entries in your "station configuration editor" > register "diagnose"? regards, Nemo

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hallo kitofix, I´ve found some more info about your errorcode 0xFFDF 410E in the WinCC online help: register "search" > connection code > error code during...> documentation of error code 410E says, that the connection was aborted because of - CPU or CP were turned off/reset - AS not connected to bus - number of max. permissible connections exceeded on your S7-CPU The number of possibleconnections foryour S7-CPU can you see in HW-config > CPU-properties (tab "general") regards, Nemo

kitofix Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello Nemo, our CPU 414-4H (firmware version V4.0.6) has 32 possible links. Only 10 links are configured into Netpro(see attached file,captured view of Netpro) : 3 high disponibility links : 1 between the PCS7 Supervisor / CP1613 cardand our S7-400-FHsystem 2 between our S7-400-FH system and 2 S7-400-H system 6 S7 links (PROFIBUS) with various S7 CPUs (315-2DP and 314) 1 FDL Link (PROFIBUS)with an S5-95U CPU So, we seem to be far from the limit... I want to add that all links are well functionning : we don't have problems or losses of communications - it's only when we stop / restart the WinCC Project or the computer that the error message comes into the WinCC Alarm Task. Sowe thinkthat there's a problem at restart during the initialisation of the high disponibility link (link N°1)between the WinCC Project/ the CP1613 card and our S7-400-FH system... Our main problem is that we don't know how to make this message disappear (excepted if we reload both S7-400-FH CPU's) orhow to prevent itfrom coming into the WinCC Alarm Task. Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hello Kitofix, well, you could try the following: - deactivate "Cycle management by PLC" in "WinCC > Tag management > SIMATIC S7-protocol suite >"your driver" > right mouse > Systemparameter > register "Simatic S7" - check the settings of your switches (if you are using something like this) - update the FW CP/CPU Good luck, nemo
