PradipUSCO Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I tried to use CA01 for making the BOM from the Simatic S7 project supplied by the plant supplier for our new rolling mill. I tried to use all the suggesations from this post but everytime I get the error and could not make the BOM. I tried this for different S7 station but could not succeed. As per one of Siemens representative, it is not possible to make a BOM from the exsisting project. But I am sure as per the description given in the manuals it should be possible. Pradip

Also give your STEP7 version and the version of the configurator you have, version V5.4 + SP3.1 is the newest STEP7 version and V8 is the newest configuratorversion.

The Simatic Manager is Step7 S&/M7/C7 version 5.3+SP3 Revision level K5.3.3.0. I am attaching the software for one of our plant unit. The error message I used to get is "DP Station connected via 6ES7151-1AA02-0AB0 can not be created. Unknown station type" Thank you. Pradip Attachment Dw120501.zip (573 Downloads)

Unknown station type" Dear Pradip, From the pageET 200 Configurator you can download the newest configurator, please look once and a while if the wizard is updated. The station you are using is not the newest, that is for example the 6ES7151-1AA04-0AB0, I don't know if this older station is recognized by the configurator... I will look if I could read in the station in my configurator and will come back to you.
