After the installation steps, the installation of SQL Server 2014 SP2 does not continue and always asks to restart the PC, and not, restarted several times and nothing, I always go back to the same installation location. Siemens only released Windows 10 LTSB 2015 x64 for use with PCS7 V9.0. There are some people that have successfully installed PCS7 v9.0 on Windows 10 Pro Creators Edition v1703 and Windows 10 Enterprise v1703 x64 but can't say I recommend this.

The same problem as Chicão had (He had a Problem with Windows 10 and I am using Windows 7). BR! ChristophD Have you check the Logfile of the SQL for some error messages? IF You are using different version of Win10 it is not recommended for PCS7 .... Probably You are using Windows 10 Enterprise x64 => 1809 (what is big different) or less for this situation You can try install handly 1. Install SQL Server 2014 Setup Support Files SP2 or download SP3 (SP2 there are on PCS7 V9.0 instalation) make folder sql_x86 , sql_x64 on C:\ run->cmd [shift][ctrl][enter] (ADMINISTRATOR) C:\>SQLServer2014SP2-KB3171021-x86-ENU.exe /x => select folder for example sql_x86 C:\>SQLServer2014SP2-KB3171021-x64-ENU.exe /x => select folder for example sql_x64 open sql_x86\ c:\sql_x86\1033_enu_lp\x86\setup\sqlsupport_msi\sqlsupport.msi [Enter] open sql_x64\ c:\sql_x86\1033_enu_lp\x64\setup\sqlsupport_msi\sqlsupport.msiv[Enter] 2. Install SQL Server Handly SQL Server 2014 SP2 Standard - Instance WinCC 32-Bit Instance Features - Database Engine Services - Reporting Services Shared Features - Business Intelligence Development Studio - Client Tools Connectivity - Management Tools and the rest application also You can try handly If You have Windows 10 Enterprise x64 => 1903 SqL 2014 SP2 should be install without problem but You can expected some problem with WinCC. Or You can try install PCS7 v9.0 SP1 plus Windows 10 Enterprise x64 => 1903 with newest cumulative update.than should be possible . hopefully these tips will be helpful....
