Hello Rescobedo; Besides not reaching your Festo module on the network, do you have any other symptoms or diagnostic messages? Do you have any diagnostic LED active on the CPU or the festo module? Did you go Online in the HWConfig editor to see if any module on the bus is declared as defective? Id any module is shown Online with a red slash icon, then its diagnostic buffer contains messages you should look at, by double-clicking on that error icon. What gsd file have you used to setup the Festo CPX-FB13 as a slave on your network? Does it correspond to this one: Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

I just want to add my feedback as I had the same problem. The station was not damaged and I check the configuration with all diagnostic module combination and still had problem to run it. After the proper I/O modules had been added to the hardware configuration the Festo station needs teaching of it's slaves to work properly. Without it we will still be seeing errors in Siemens software and on the main Festo module. There is a teach button on the front of the module- under the plastic screwed cover More info here https://www.festo.com/pl/pl/support-portal-specific/?query=526705&groupId=3&productName=Interfejs+elektryczny&documentId=661252 |
