We have an old 8 color printing press machine which its control system is S7 PLC CPU 414 2DP. It has 3 ET200M I/Os and 2 Festo Valve Stations and 8 Digiflex 200s on the Profibus network. Program is downloaded to PLC and everything is working good. I want to add more digital I/O on one of the ET200M station so first of all I have been uploaded the whole program from PLC to my PC.( I am using SIMATIC Manager ver5.4) When I open Hardware configuration everything seems to be good but with the consistency check I am getting the following error: ================================ 12/11/2020 9:07:52 AM ================================ Consistency Check (13:4918): You may not assign a process image partition to the output address (address 516, length 16 bytes) because this range is outside the process image partition. Consistency Check (13:4917): You may not assign a process image partition to the input address (address 516, length 16 bytes) because this range is outside the process image partition. If I fix this error and then save and compile, download SDB to PLC , CPU will lose connection to all devices on the Profibus. I think this is because of I don’t have GSD file for the Digiflex station on the Profibus or it is version compatibility issue. I have attached the configuration file for you reference. Now my question is : Is there any way that I can add I/O module manually in the SDB rather than using hardware configuration? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
