is there anywhere an open source example or tutorial how to use Json Forms for creating
a configuration for an IE App on deploy time?

Hello Dieter,

You need to define a "uischema" and a "dataschema".

In the attached file you can see a basic example of a JSON file with a few values.

(Please keep in mind, that the file was uploaded as a .txt due to upload restrictions)
