Did you find a solution? We also have this problem. We have 14 G120X drives in a line topology. Once in a while randomly one of the drives gives the 8502 error. In the HW config they have an update time of 2ms ande the number of accepted update cycles with missing IO data is 115. That makes the watchdog time at 230 ms.
