MOBY I RF180C with SLG43

I'm developing the application with the TIA V15.1 with a 1517 CPU, to which the RF180C interface is connected X1 READER 1's channel is engaged by a (somewhat dated) Reader MOBY I SLG 43 with attached tag to read MDS 506 Moby I (also a bit dated and deprecated by SIEMENS). For hardware configuration, I used the device in the catalog, with firmware updated at the last release (V2.2) The unit parametrization is showed in attached file: therefore, changes had to be made to make it compatible with the MOBY I filehandler mode configuration. The configuration of the technological object, on the other hand, is as follows (and is the only "working"): The software was made through the optional SIMATIC Ident packages. …I would try to read the tag, but: 1) Reset Reader:reset is the only thing that seems to work (doneResetReader=TRUE)) 2) READ:The read, on the other hand, detects only the presence of the tag, but does not read and immediately gives error 16E6FE_0500 (reset command required): Do you know how to help me? Dejrus_8642142 Regular Member Joined: 4/26/2017 Last visit: 1/21/2026 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hello! Did you managed the MOBY I reading ? I have similar issues, but at the end I'm thinking to connect old reader to old S7300 cpu just for reading the tags. Then connection between S7-1500 and S7-300.
