Siemens Field PG M2

Sean Greaves Posts: 62 Rating: (0)	Hi Forum I have a new Field PG purchased 2 months ago running on XP, when 1st switched on system just hangs on black screen with flashing cursor on left hand side. If switched off and on again system boots normally. Any ideas what could be causing the system to hang. Regards Gengus

Since Siemens launched some new BIOS updates the problem was solved, but since about 6 months it happens again. I have to start the FieldPG two times as a minimum and always the black screen with the steady cursor is shown. Maybe another BIOS version solves the problem....

oem Posts: 14 Rating: (3)	Dear Gengus, I have experienced the same problems with my new PG (6ES7713-1BB10-0AD0) in a progressive way. Finally I took the latest BIOS upgrade from SIEMENS site (it was xxxxx03 and now it is xxxxx04). Problem has been solved with this upgrade. Have fun!
