Hi, Can you clarify if we have to replace 4mb ram with higher capacity during run mode what are the steps to be taken while critical process is running with failsafe logic blocks. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Raheel; Remember that working with a redundant S7-400H allows you to stop one of the CPUs (preferably the standby CPU), making the primary CPU go to solo mode, so you can modify anything you need to change on the stopped CPU, including the memory card. Just make sure that both CPUs have the same amount if load memory when you try to synchronize them again, which implies changing both memory cards while each CPU is stopped, one after the other.
