Owei Gold Expert Joined: 10/1/2013 Last visit: 5/8/2024 Posts: 605 Rating: (71)	OK, first of all try reading the TAG ID. Set command "READ ID" by setting Q258.0 to TRUE. Hold a TAG above the reader. Execute the command by setting Q256.0 to TRUE. Check I256.0 to I256.7 and tell me what those bits are set to.

RF_WAR: Unstable Communications This bit turns ON when the diagnostics result in the response for execution of an RF Tag communications command by the Reader/Writer indicates that communications are unstable. It turns ON and OFF in sync with the NORM signal. I'm not sure about how to interpret this error. Usually the bit I256.0 ("READY") should be set to TRUE before executing a command. Unfortunately there's not much documentation about RF_WAR bit set. :( Maybe you have to change PROFINET I/O time intervals or stuff like that to fix that error. What about the NORM/ERR LED of the reader?

Led LINK/ACT is flashing, but must lighting during normal connection (according manual*

The trouble was in converting of addresses from siemens to Omron's tables of memory. For example, the bit READY is I257.0, the command EXE is Q257.0. I prepared picture with setings of TIA portal and converting of addresses, sorry for the big format of the picture. I hope it can be helpful for somebody. Manual for this RFID reader is on first message of this topic Also i made the sample project with CPU1511c and KTP600 Project v680s Omron - 1511c Attachment RFID_V680S_Omron.png (829 Downloads)
