Hi peterplavec, I had the same problem when I needed to install TIA V11 proand MicroWin up9 on same platform. When I had a Laptop with WIN 7 32bit had no problem to install both programs and communicate with S7-1200 or S7-200(PPI). Problem: Later on I had to replace my laptop to a new one which I recived with WIN 7 64bit, after installing TIA V11 proand MicroWin up9 they both could run but whenI tried to create communication on TIA V11 didn't find the device(plc), further more on MicroWin up9 didn't communicate via PPI it wasn't even listed in the set PG/PC.. Solution: Uninstalled both programs -> Installed STEP7 pro 5.5 sp2 2010 sr2 (works)-> Installed TIA V11 pro (works)-> Installed TIA V13 pro (works)->Installed MicroWin up9 (works but cannot communicate). for MicroWin had to creat a Virtual Machine running a WIN 7 32 bit(can communicate). so at this moment I have a WIN 7 64bit, programs: TIA V11 pro, TIA V13 pro, STEP7 pro, MW up9(works for reviewing projects). VM with a Win 732bit, programs: MicroWin up9. same problem happend on a PC of a colleague he has a WIN 7 32bit programs: TIA V11 basic, TIA V12 basic, Microwin up9. all programs are working then he installed TIA V13 Basic.. boom no communication on TIA V13 basic. he managed to create communication by assigningIP address with S7-1200 Tool then programing and downloading with TIA V13 when on same IP segment(assigning ip 192.168.10.52 with S7-1200 tool, then changing PC ip to 192.168.10.99 and communication is working). I'm not 100% sure whatthe problem isbutmy guessing iswheninstalling a programit configures which communication port it should use sowhen you installed different programs I guess it overwrites some of the configurations causing some conflicts. maybe even there are conflicts with Siemens windowsservices (you can see them on task manager-> services). when I asked siemens support they suggested Ishould install each program on a different Virtual Machine and just transfer the license from one to another. hope this will help you. Had the same problem with TIA Portal V13 SP1 Upd1, on two PCs. Problem appears to be resolved with installation of V13 SP1 Upd2. Hope this helps. |
