I have been unsuccessful in downloading my compiled HMI screens to my ktp 700 basic panel. when I click on download to device and start a search I  get the following message No accessible device found in the selected network. I have tried different ip addresses types of interfaces and subnets. the cable is good as I can transfer the program to the plc. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated 

Was the HMI previously configured with the same profinet name and IP used in the project?

Please disabe any antivirus/firewall, and Wi-Fi connection.

ok, Im a bit further forward

The TIA V18 portal now recognises the HMI and I can get it to flash. However, when loading my project the compiling works ok but  I get 3 errors when trying to load to the HMIi

the errors are

1 HMI_RT_1    loading will not be performed because preconditions are not met

2 Fit.                Components with a different version are installed on the target device

3                      An older incompatible firmware image exists on the target device. If you update the operating system update, recipe data, user data and some system settings could be deleted permanently

 Perform OS update to your panel.

How do you do a SIMATIC HMI operating system update (firmware update, OS update) on operator panels or perform a "Reset to factory settings"?
