We have a few Micromaster 440 inverters and only one BOP that we switch between the inverters as needed. There is an issue with the "P" parameter button. If the inverter has just been power cycled and has not started yet, the "P" button works and takes me to the parameters. However, once a start command is given to the inverter, the "P" button stops working until I power cycle the inverter again, even if the motor is stopped. The fact that it works after a power cycle suggests that it might not be a hardware issue, and there could be something related to the parameters causing this behavior. The behaviour of the button is same on all inverters. |

Hi, Please could you provide the BOP part number and firmware version. My first suggestion would have been to try with a different BOP, but I realise you only have the one. Are you able to obtain/borrow one from somewhere else? I haven't seen this behaviour before, but it could still be a hardware issue i.e. EMC problems ... Whilst it's not impossible that it could be due to some rogue parameterisation, it's pretty unlikely. Regards, Graeme |
