Hi, There is not a faster options. With block contacts you are bound. You can however remove the block contact attribute for the I/O so that a connections is not created between SFC and the block but I do not recommend this. Another option if you are using PCS7 V9.0 or higher, is using EPHT and EMT with CMT. It's a concept that is provided in the Compendium part C: SFC types starting at page 72. You can create technological command and status and use them in the EPHT/EMT. An EPHT/EMT is a template with a CFC chart and SFC type component. You can control CMT with a command like SetAuto created in the CMT. In SetAuto you define once which I/O to be set (for example ModLiOp and AutModLi on 1 in Initialization and 0 in Termination) and then you can create roles of that CMT in the EPHT/EMT. For instance Valve1, Valve2 etc. Then you can call Valve1 in the SFC and select the command SetAuto. If you want to know more of this concept, please check the compendium because it's quite extensive. |
