two possiblity i have checked 

1) i have directly plugged cp 5512 on cpu and checked but no reply

2) i have plugged cp5512 on profibus network on cpu side and checked then slaves adresses  are showing  but master adress not showing 

is it clear now 

topology as below

cpu(master address 2)>dp coupler (address 3)> other 54 slaves connected

kindly note this is not a new machine 

machine was running on the same configuration since 8 years

If you can get directly to the CPU you've tried the port to the left "MPI Port" if you can with the accessible nodes?

i am using cpu318-2 which are connected with profibus slave

topology as below

cpu>dp coupler>54 slaves >.........

i am trying to take backup of my plc using cp5512 as per below sop

PLC>UPLOAD TO PG STATION>VIEW> all other connected nodes are showing when i pressed view bus profibus master node adress not showing which is 2

now my profibus network in failed condition since 15 days but noone is supporting  

pls go through attached files for clarification

Dear Friend 

try to disconnect slave DP from your CPU and Connect MPI cable to CPU(MPI slot ) and try to go online and take copy of program 

If you cann't   kindly ask local support , and maybe the CPU Fail  port
