Hello everyone,

I found a problem with connection to PLC/HMI via Tia Portal V14 SP1. I have got to different computers with VMware and Tia portal installed as above. After company's update to win10 1703 I lost connection via PROFINET devices but another computer still can establish connections. Now I can't reinstall .Net framework 4.7 to 4.6.2 because there is a funny answer from Windows TechNet side:

".Net 4.7 is included in the creators update, so you can not uninstall it.

As it is compatible to 4.6.2: why do you want to uninstall it?"

Is it a real reason of the problem?

Is it affects virtual machine?

Win7 64bit is a OS host on VMware with .Net Framework 4.6.2. Computer OS is Win10 64bit. Network card is bridged and replicated. Network adresses of PLC and HMI by ping are reachable. No accessible devices problem appear.

Please check configuration of second computer in first post that worked. I don't know why but it has .Net 4.6.2 and (not configurable) 4.7. In my situation i can't install older version of .Net and uninstall 4.7.

 Yes you're right about configuration. 

VMware version was v10 and now is v15 with updated tools. Second computer that working has vmware v10. 

I unbridged and bridged network adapter several times without effect (with restore default).

I have never used that kind of adapter and I prefer for example LAN->MPI/PROFIBUS adapters.

Perform a repair of your install and check for updates to VMware.

If I understand correctly, your configuration is:

1. Main PC : Win10 build 1703
2. VM : Win7-64
3. Portal V14 SP1 is installed in VM, not Main PC.

You may need to unbridge and then bridge your network adapter(s) again to get the VM to work correctly after the win10 update.

If you have a spare USB->LAN adapter, install that and have the VM capture it completely.  See if that works.

Problem solved. After new update my keyboard broke down so I tried to restore Windows 10 to first version 1703. Now I have Windows 10 1703 OS compile: 15063.483 and .Net Framework 4.7 and now everything works fine. The problem could be connnected with any update or Company Certificates, so I'm not going to change anything.
