Hi, please help me,
After update of l'OS by simatic prosave, i have this message on the screen of panel KP700 comfort:
[update of operating system and reset to factory settings initiated by the user.
please update the operating system with reset to factory settings.

Hi, please help me,
After update of l'OS by simatic prosave, i have this message on the screen of panel KP700 comfort:

      Same issue was encountered by one of our Client couple of days back, received call saying HM(TP 1500) screen is filled with the above messages even on powering it up again & no other screen.

      Tried pinging the HMI with its IP address & tried to factory reset/ OS update,take backup via prosave V13 & V15, nothing worked, since couldn't establish connection with HMI via pinging its IP address.

      Then found the HMI to be factory reset since the IP address was absent & Interface Type was ISO, on accessing the device via Accessible devices from TIA Protal V13 & V15, both.

     Then after accessible device, displayed the device via "SHOW" button & in "Online & diagnostics" set its IP address, & downloaded Pack & Go (project is in TIA 13) file as I had it, you can try by creating any other project with same HMI device in any TIA version & download as you download into a fresh HMI.

     But via Pack & Go file could only install Runtime & couldn't load the project as encountered error as "Loading failed", but now I got the the Runtime screen, went to "Transfer" under settings & set IP address as it was absent & Interface as "Ethernet" from default "PN/IE", then I could download the same Pack & Go file completely without any error, without overwriting the Recipe, but later found no Recipes in the HMI & plus licenses were also absent (Audit & Simatic Logon Service licenses), making it evident that HMI has gone through Factory reset.

      Have placed Support Request too, will be asking Siemens Technical Team for the possible cause behind getting this "Factory Reset initialized" message automatically without initiating it, as our Client didn't.

    Will share with you if I get any reply on it.

Thanks for your answer, @CoreGuy. I am in the same situation with a TP1200 comfort currently and the above help hasn't worked for me. I go to Accessible Devices on TIA and click Start Search. But it always comes up with 0 devices, so I cannot click Show button.

If you could please elaborate on a few of these points:

1. Where to set the interface to ISO. Is it in Step7 like we normally do? Please show with pics.

2. Once on ISO, are we still connected to the HMI via an ethernet cable? What should be the IP address of my computer (PG)?

3. Can you show an example for Pack and Go type file? How to create one for TIA 13.
