Hello, and thanks again for reply and for your patience, Are you referring to the document: "Cia 301 - CANopen application layer and communication profile"? I am not understanding, you told me that I can only access the 2000hx but I don't need them, because I have to send/provide data to the master using other ranges of addresses. See the link: EU27-3_May_2015.pdf (euromap.org). This is the part 1 of the euromap definition EU27-1_May_2015.pdf (euromap.org). That is why I am confused, because on the documents I have all the object dictionaries availables. Also if I export the .EDS file from my slave siemens device, and I open it with visual studio code, these addresses are available (see picture attached to my first post) but I can't edit them from TIA. Maybe I miss some tool to install in Tia portal to enable them.. Also I can't edit the vendor ID and all the other info that master should expect. |

Hello, I mean of course PN/CAN Link PDF manual: PN/CAN Link manual 1. Also if I export the .EDS file from my slave siemens device, and I open it with visual studio code, these addresses are available (see picture attached to my first post) but I can't edit them from TIA. Maybe I miss some tool to install in Tia portal to enable them. And for what reason you want edit??? As I said, you need send it/import on Manager extruder device so that device can do other cfg to know from your EDS file what is accessible on your side. You have that objects mapped to your PI on PLC to have data to read/write from/to Manager extruder. Other things does this device. 2. Also I can't edit the vendor ID and all the other info that master should expect. You can't, some data are write protected. Again pls, all is inside that PN/CAN document and also on my first posts attachment where Manager device can read/write due specific procedure. You can also see attributes there R/RW so it easy and clearly explains that some data objects are only for read and some are read/write capable Read that documentation carefully, sentence by sentence, no other way. Look, I don't have any chance to do that cfg and also don't have that gateway at my place. All what you need to do is described at that my mentioned manual. I expect also that Euromap's expected objects are simply same as the standard defines, all are also available at your device but look at my attacahment about that objects what are accessible only to Manager extruder device via SDOs. To my experience there are also possibilities specific that also some other objects like that system objects .can be mapped to PDOs but this must support cfg SW. Other things like Heartbeat and maybe LifeGuard you need cooperate with programmer of Manager extruder device to have expecetd functionality. |
