Hello Pyrus; The last 2 part numbers you are looking at (6ES7635-3SB00-2CG0 and 6ES7635-3SB02-2CG0) are not standard Siemens C7-635 equipment part numbers. It looks like these were designed and specialy modified with a single client in mind, Tetrapak in this case. Look at the screenshot below, taken from this site: https://www.industry-mall.net/category/siemens-c7-systems The following are standard C7-635 product numbers, fior comparison:
In my experience, you will get little or no information from Siemens on these specialized batches of products. They coul;d be very close to normal C7-635 products, but they may have additional input and output features, or different bezels, or different functions programmed in their firmware; These modifications will not appear on general documents from Siemens. In any case Siemens feels restricted by a NDA with their unique client when they produce such equipment. You might ask Tetrapak, but i have a feeling that this would give little results. Hope thois helps, Daniel Chartier |

Oh wow!! I was NOT expecting that! Yes, you are 100% correct. It is indeed from TetraPak. I just was not expecting the HMI to be specifically modified for a single client! I guess the closest would be the 6ES7635-2EB02-0AE3 C7-635 TOUCH or maybe the 6ES7635-2EB00-0AE3C7-635 TB (TOUCH-PANEL MONOCHROME) in this case. I'm really hoping that these are modified only to suit the client and that knowing the PLC inside it would allow me to modify it accordingly to suit the PLC inside the HMI in question. I actually managed to get a backup copy of the program that they had installed, and made sure that the machine works with it. The only issue is that (you may have already guessed it) the HMI is unique! In any case, I'm very thankful for the information that you've provided! Very informative! If possible, also please let me know about PDF files concerning the HMIs that you have listed above. I really would like to know the technical details inside each of them. I actually want to know what processor they have inside of them. The 6ES7635-2EB02-0AE3 is very similar to the HMI that we have. I'm hoping that by replacing the processor in the HW Config, we can have a better source (and honestly cheaper) source of HMI replacement. |
