AutoGen_2709848 Joined: 12/31/2023 Last visit: 12/31/2023 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello engineers I read all comments about this issue and applied all of them But my problem still Let me give some details about my system Siemens PLC CPU 412-3H Siemens HMI TP177B My system is One PLC connected to three HMI by one Profibus It was working for seven years and no changes in software or hardware The problem is two HMI show the parameters on screen and The OS (operating station ) and the third on shows ####### on screen and The OS (operating station ) Again all HMIs connected to one Profibus The troubleshooting was Download the project to PLC from ES (engineer station ) Download the project to PLC from PG (laptop) Download the HMI project Check the addresses Check the Ethernet cables Check the scalance switch Check the IO cards Change the HMI to new one I don’t knew the problem from where exactly Can you help me please ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from HMI Display showing up as hashtags.

Hazard_7 Advanced Member Joined: 5/30/2022 Last visit: 11/14/2024 Posts: 598 Rating: (97)	Hi AautoGen_2709848, From what I read one of the HMIs fails and in the checks it doesn't say anything about the profibus cable. I would ask if it is connected via the CPU's integrated DP port. If so, check the cable and the termination resistors to make sure they have not been changed. Also, another test would be to swap one position display for another and see if it is always the third one that gives the problem.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 11/15/2024 Posts: 14176 Rating: (1774)	Hello AutoGen_2709848 If you close the Runtime on on of the working HMIs, do you get then an connection on th non working ones? If yes then it could be a problem of communication ressources of the PLC (you can also see them online int he PLC´s communication state information). if you have a CP (56XX or 5711) then you can run a diagnostic view in PGPc interface settings and see if you can see all active stations (PLC and HMIs) on the Profibus. Check also the signal level with a profibus tester Bye Murof
