Refurbishment of Old Analysers! Is it possible!

Gunners Posts: 130 Rating: (18)	hi all, I have a very unique and peculiar project in my hand rt now. There was a refinery in Germany starting operations in 1978. This refinery operated till 1989 and then dismantled unit by unit and then sold to an Indian Buyer. Now the buyer has kept all the instruments packed in containers for the next 10 years in Germany at some location.i.e; 1999. Now in 2000 they have shipped the same containers to india at the new refinery site where they want to setup this refinery. Now the question is can these instruments survive this GAAAP of Non Operation of literally 20 years????? I am enclosing the following list of Analysers of Siemens Installed at that time. What kind of refurbishment can we offer to the customer now?????? are the spares still available for the below mentioned instruments??????? 1) Siemens P200 Gas Chromatograph 2) Siemens P300 " 3) Siemens P300/K1108 4) Siemens P302/D1250 There are 200 of these instruments. Can anyone help me on this????? Regards,

Anyway I suggest you to change all of this old equipments. Look at Process Analytics There you could find new type (actual on the market) of instruments.. Hope this will helps.
