cp1616 interface card softplc

TomDeWou Platinum Expert Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 5/7/2021 Posts: 1319 Rating: (173)	There's a kind of bug from Windows in combination with the RTX part, if you move the network adapter from Windows side to RTX side. Windows seems to have problems with it. See manual for WinAC RTX http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/43715176 , chapter 12.3.3. There is a part given telling something about using several Ethernet interfaces which gives you some help on it.

Moldi Posts: 89 Rating: (7)	hmm... Tom... This problem is known, but the descibed behavior is only when you are usingseveral standard ethernet controller (Intel chipsets). In combination with CP1616 I never faced this problem in bevor! So I think we got here another problem. Please make sure that you configure the CP1616 as submodule in WinAC RTX properties. Then reboot the system. You can also uninstall the standard ethernet controller in Windows. After reboot the NIC (network interface controller) should have no problems with Windows anymore. regards
