problem with Coros LS-B

karolewsky Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	srik11 We have an operating station with COROS LS-B linked with S5 PLCs through sinec H1.Computer having CP1413 processor. Now the PC hard disk has failed .Now I need to reinstall coros LS-B. How to establish the communication between PLC and coros LS-B? I installed the COROS LS-B in a computer with win98 OS. I loaded the default file from profiels in LSBSET. Still it is not communicating. do I need to do configuration of sinec H1? I also have a problem with Coros LS-B. But a little different. I havef Coros on VM. And I need to change the computer with that system, bucouse that one was to fast, and I got some screen error too many times. I reinstalled everything, got some problem but in the end the system was working. I Got into the config window and there I can choose via the supervisor button an .OSO file with the project to runtime it. The problem however happens, bucause the program is exiting into shell. When i writhe exit I'm back again at the config menu. What is weird when I open a different .OSO project with no PLC configured everything is fine. As far as I know there need to be made some changes into the project because the computer has changed.But I can't figure it out how to change some project settings. But I can't figure it out. I don't know why it is behaving like that, and what is worst I don't know how to change it. I can't find too much info about coros. I found only one manual on siemens support website, but with the basic info. The system is to be changed sooner or later, but for at least a year it need to be a coros ls-b. Can anyone help me? Maybe someone has faced a similiar situation? Thank You in advance regards Karol

chatta Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hello I think I can support you. WIN98 is not released with Coros LSB. Please install Coros on a WIN95c PC. But the LSB Version must be V2.21. The old LSB Versions will not work with WIN95. If you made all settings in LSBSET you must not change something in SINEC H1. karolewsky Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Thanks Chatta for Your info and interests with my problem, But fortunately I managed to solve it. There was an sort of a diskette on ltp port, which was a key. That was the reason i could not run runtime. I thought in the beginning that was a sort of a cut old printer plug. So the screen got blue couse The program didn't have all data.I found It's written on the key that it is a sort of data decoder. I managed to do everything and it is working now. I got all data on VM and previously my vm was installed on Win7 and there were problems with he systems. I changed the system on XP and everything seems to be ok. Best regards Karol
