Greeting, Could you please describe the what will pin configuration for Communication Cable Between Siemens MP277 8" touch & Allen Bradley SLC5/03 Proccessor with DF1_DH485. can i use attached pin configuration..??? Hi, MP277 has one port RS485, one port RS422 and one ethernet port. So the attached cable is not good for you. Does your PLC has RS485 port ? You need to use it. Also maybe you can use RS232/485 converter, but I'm not sure if it will work. Also look here SIMATIC HMI WinCC flexible 2008 Communication Part 2 chapter 2. |

Many thanks for reply Darius, MP277 6AV6643-0CB01-1AX1 has only one DB 9 port we can select our protocole via Dip switch RS422/485. We can use SLC500 with DF1 or DH485 via Siemens IF1B RS422/485 Selection have a look attached Wincc flexible connection for Allen Bradley SLC PLC. We need pin configuration for this protocole or any Siemens_AB cable order number..??? My question Can i use AB cable 1747-CP3 wich is mentioned in Wincc flexible manual part2 see attached...??
