Use of CAT5 cable for switches?

Juancito Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I know that SVV-cable (0,8mm²) is normally used for the connection between modules and switches. I installed CAT5-cable to all my switches, so can I still use LOGO! - system as domotica-system?

Hänninen Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I can't se any problem to use a CAT5 cable. The manual says: page 276 Everery input uses a current >2mA and I suppose that youre voltage is 24V. So if the CAT5 can handle that so then it's OK. You can download tha manual here http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21221909
