ANY Pointer data type as OUT parameter in FC

An ANY pointer is created in local memory as a temporary variable. The ANY pointer references data in a global DB. I then need to transfer this ANY pointer to the OUT variable (data type ANY). FUNCTION VAR_INPUT ENABLE : BOOL ; END_VAR VAR_OUTPUT PUN : ANY ; END_VAR VAR_TEMP tempPUN_ANY : ANY ; END_VAR BEGIN NETWORK // Create ANY pointer toDB Globaldata LAR1 P##tempPUN_ANY; L W#16#1002; //Syntax-ID=10 Hex / Type=02 Hex for data type "Byte" T LW [AR1,P#0.0]; L 18; //Number of Bytes to copy T LW [AR1,P#2.0]; L 1003; //DB number of the Task Status data T LW [AR1,P#4.0]; L 2127; //Area pointer SLD 3; OD DW#16#87000000; T LD [AR1,P#6.0]; Now, how can I transfer this pointer that references the Global DB data as an OUT parameter of the FC?

Thijs Posts: 121 Rating: (16)	The only method I've found is to move te data forming the any pointer from the internal memory to the out memory. Thijs Posts: 121 Rating: (16)	When saving reference data specialy in a FB structure, don't forget to save the AR2 register. This one contains the FB callup path.
