I have big problems with 2 last buied OP73. After having successfuly downloaded OS and programms, the panels are unable to communicate with S7-300 CPU.

Also, these panels are not seen by Siemens softwares (WinCC Flexible, Simatic manager,...). Downloading new programms is impossible. I tried with both MPI and PROFIBUS protocols, nothing works. I checked adresses, baudrate, everything is correct.

I have no problems with other types of panels: OP77, OP177, MP277,....

I use WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3 Upd 3. I also tried with Upd 5, but problem still there. I use PC Adapter USB A2 (6GK1 571-0BA00-0AA0) to communicate with my devices.

Is there a problem with last OP73 ?

I have no problem with myPC Adapterand my settings.I'm sure becauseI use it almost every day with other Siemens devices and I never meet any problem. The problem really comes from OP73 or WinCC Flexible.

Yesterday I used Prosave with a RS232/PPI Multi-Master cable. I have reset OP73 successfully to factory settings. When done, the OP73 became visible in available partners. But when I download user programm, the OP73 becomes unvisible and communication fails completely. I can download user programm only one time.

My user programm uses only some basic inputs/outputs, and an alarm display. After compilation, no error and no warning. No bad adressed tags, no problem nowhere.

But I see something strange: highest address on network cannot be 126, and I don't know why. WinCC Flexible doesn't accept. So I put 15 in this parameter of my Profibus network(from NetPro). It is accepted by WinCC Flexible, but on my mind, not supported by OP73.

Yes you are right about highest address. In my original project, highest address = 15.

This morning I made other tests: Ihave downloaded a project which I'am sure it works for more than 1 year. Highest address is also 15. And this project works fine in my new panel, communication never fails.

So in my bad project, I created a new HMI station, because this programm has been originalymigrated from ProTool. And I copied/pasted screens, tags, alarms and users from old station. Compilation: no error, no warning. But when I download the programm, no more communication. Back to factory settings with a serial cable again and again.

I look in my programm many times, and I don't see any error or strange things. This is a very simple programm. I really don't understand what happens.

Is it possible that there is in project things from ProTool that crash communication ?
