Hi Guys,

 I have problems to download a project to the Panel TP 117B DP-6 MSTN.

I have the cable recommended in the file USB transfer, by Siemens: Belkin Easy Transfer model F5U258.

I have downloaded and installed the bulk driver for the cable recommended by siemens.

 I have checked the Transfer settings on the operator panel:

Channel 2: USB

Enable Channel (Check)

Remote Control (Check)

 I know the cable is working correctly because I used it to transfer data from one laptop to another laptop.

 I have followed the recommendation given in the file " USB transfer, by Siemens" to overcome this issue, but without successful. Can someone give any hint how to solve this problem.

Also, the overall context is:

The panel had a project, and as far as I know it was working ok, but I do not know what happened and now the panel does not work.

 When the panel is switch on, it starts booting, then it shows the “loader V01.01.04.00_01.16” screen, in which the options “transfer, start, control panel and taskbar” appeared.

and then automatically goes to another screen which says “System will be started” but it keeps there, it makes nothing more.

 I want to download a new project to the panel, but I have problem with the connection.

Every even small hint are welcome!!!

Which Operation System do you have on your Engeneering PC? Win7 32 or 64 Bit?

When you have Win7 64 Bit you have to use the Driver from WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 DVD in the folder:

\\: Support\DeviceDriver\USB\Windows7_64

Do not use the Driver which is installed automatically when you connect the Belkin Cable to the USB Port.

Look in your Panel in Control Panel -> Transfer-> Have you activated Channel 2 and USB?

I Habe also one of these cables. You cannot buy them today any more
