Hello experts. I have several comfort panels 1200 that are collecting some data that I'm already exporting to CSV files into USB or SD card. Now what I would like to do is to copy these files to a FTP server that I have on same network with same IP range, by means of script, even if this one needs to use some system function. (easy to do it with standard windows 7 or 10) Problem I face is that seems windows CE provided on comforts panels does not allow to do FTP connections; also I tried to do it, as test, on shared windows folder and also seems it is not possible. Do someone have a hint, or is directly not possible to do it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello DJ_1 Maybe I explained wrongly my intentions. I already know and use webserver, but this is not what I want to do now. What I pretend to do is to automatically by script copy certain files from Comfort Panel to external FTP server, to save it as safety copy for future inspections. This should be automated, not that some user remembers to do it manually. By the way having a look over FTP access indicated on post https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/15250466 seems that is not the solution as I cannot access to this FTP with internet explorer. I already tried similar things with no success. Attached screenshots trying to access to this FTP server with comfort panels and screenshot doing same with regular windows PC on same network. With comfort I'm not able to access to this FTP instead of PC that easily access it. Thank you |

Hello, I haven't check with FTP but i have another idea to do it by network path. See the attached video for the same. I did following steps. I have created two data log file. "data_log_1" is actual data log ( PLC tag) which i have stored in PC network file having folder name A and dummy "data_log_2 "which is also stored in same PC having folder name B. Once data log is started then values are getting logged under folder A in PC. Once data log is completed then thru the event "copy log", i am copying "data_log_1" file from folder A to folder B. This event can be executed on time basis. Now in your case primary data log is on either USB or SD card and secondary is network PC( network drive). AttachmentHMI Log.zip (980 Downloads) |
