Dear experts,

after many years of service, I need to replace operator panel OP7. Application is made with ProTool. Since both OP7 and ProTool are not in a production any more, what would you suggest to use as a replacement?

I need an OP that is most similar to OP7. I guess application needs to be written from scratch in WinCC flexible?

What would you recommend?

I do have Protool project (integrated in STEP 7 v5.3 project). Now the question is whether it is possible to program KP400 with WinCC Felxible or TIA portal is required.

I'll look into migration options. Old OP7 panel was basic text panel. I wonder if it is possible to migrate into wincc flexible.
