Hi,

i´m new to PLC programming but very interested in learning and create projects. I have build a cold smoke and bought a LOGO 8 to manage the smoker. I would like to control the on/off of the smokegenerator and when the time is up it should shut down and in the same time start a fan to take away the smoke from the box. I would also like to use a PT100 for the temperature. control. The temperature should also manage the on/off function. 

I hope someone is up to help me with this one, or if there is any book´s that i could read in :)

If you want to use a PT 100 then have you two possibilities:

1.) You use a additional extended module AM2 RTD.

2.) If your LOGO! has analog inputs, then can you use an external PT100 transmitter with a 0-10V or a 0/4-20 mA output.

 Okay, thank you, The type of LOGO is a 230v with 4 analog/8 digital inputs.

i´m also interested how i should write the program, which kind of block´s i should use. i´m totaly new to this but as i wrote really interested :)
