The current LSC V8.3 is required for LOGO! 8.3, as only it has the device type LOGO! 8.3 in the device selection. You can download the free upgrade to LSC V8.3 here: Download for LOGO! 8.3 Software Upgrade However, the upgrade is subject to export restrictions which require an extended registration. If you are then approved for downloading from Siemens, you will receive an email from Siemens. Why do you have to log in and register for downloading export-restricted software and what data do you need for this?

When you have completed the extended registration, Siemens will examine your data. If the test is positive, you will receive a positive email. How long does it take? Nobody can tell you for sure except Siemens. It's all on the website that I linked you to. Extract from the website: "Note At the moment you are still not authorized to download export-restricted software from Industry Online Portal. Siemens now does an export regulation check. This check usually takes 2 to 3 working days. In exceptional cases it can take longer. After the check you receive an e-mail permitting you to download export-restricted software from the Industry Online Portal. You must receive the corresponding e-mail before you can download any export-restricted software. When you receive the corresponding e-mail you can continue with the instructions in the e-mail. "

LOL You purchase a new version logo kit and you receive a incompatible version of LGS. It's a siemens joke ? Ok, no problem, i download an update... oh no ! you have to register and wait a maybe yes or maybe no ! Another Siemens Joke :) Logo is good but siemens rules is ****....
