For your project I would say: Ask your local Siemens Office. You want make with the LOGO! a projekt that you make normally with S7-SPS.......

(42 analog values in total), I see no performance problems too. But as ixo65 wrote a LOGO! can only communicate to max. 16 other parts with S7-communication. A good solution is your “collector”-LOGO! communicates only to 6 other “intermediate”-LOGO!s. This 6 “intermediate”-LOGO!s get the values from 6 other LOGO!, which is 42 in total. In this solution each “intermediate”-LOGO! sends 7 analog values to the “collector”-LOGO!.
