Please turn off your Firewall and Virusscanner. (They can block the search to MAC Address) Best regards, Wizard

dirk_ Bronze Member Joined: 3/22/2014 Last visit: 5/21/2024 Posts: 96 Rating: (7)	I was able to help some collegues to restore panels in this condition, but i'm not sure that is possible in any case and with any type of this new panels.. Ensure to connect directly PC and HMI with an ethernet cable. Open prosave and chose your panel. Do not insert any IP address (i saw from pictures you post that you wrote an IP in your configuration, leave it to 0.0.0.0). Then in last tab insert MAC address and press OS update. Also check that your PG/PC interface is set to ethernet port you are using to connect to your panel. You can also try with an other PC (better if with a different SW configuration), don't care if TIA portal version is different, if you can restore panel then during next download of the project the firmware will be updated to the correct version. When you connect to a dead panel like yours is OK that network information given by windows says that PC is not connected because in that state HMI doesn't have any IP address yet.
