Just to make clear:

• The F-TM Stepdrive does support operation without any encoder.
• F-TM Servodrive ST/HF requiring with BLDC Motors an encoder.
  In this case the Hall sensors are used for commutation and for closed loop speed control (6 pulses per revolution).
