Hi everyone!

I'm having issue connecting my pc with my new logo plc. Even though I followed all the instructions regarding different IP addresses between the pc and the plc and same Subnet for both of them, the connection still doesn't go through. No accessible logo found when pushing the arrows on the right top side of the box open for connection. Here attached the error message that keeps coming out after running the test for connection.

FYI: I'm using an ethernet adapter for the ethernet cable. No ethernet port available in my pc. 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for promptly responding. I'm a student in Electrical Technology and I'm building my own trainer using a 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1 Logo and the software version that is running on my pc is Soft Comfort V8.2. 

For the PC

      IP address: 169. 254. 238.254 

      Subnet mask: 255. 255. 255. 0

For the PLC I did change it to different ones while keeping the first three segments identical to the pc. Right now, it is 169. 254. 238. 253

       Subnet mask remains the same as the pc: 255. 255. 255. 000.
