Hello Every Body,

I have two plc s7-1500 and one et200 card.

the first plc is controlling the et200 card and the second plc is doing some other things.

I want to access the inputs and outputs of the et200 trough the first plc s7-1500, then if the first plc has a problem and doesn't work, the second plc will automatically replace the first and will control the inputs and outputs of the et200 .

I don't want to use redundant system .

is there anyway to solve this problem??

in shared input, if the communication between the basic submodule and first PLC interrupts, the communication between the other submodules and other PLCs  will be interrupted ???

 is there anyway to change write access of PLCs?

can you help me how I can create control logic to have both PLCs able to control it by having one PLC control it unless a remote request comes in from the 2nd PLC that says to change it to a specific state that contradicts what the local controller wants???

Hi,

Inputs of a module can be read by both PLCs but outputs can only be written by one CPU and only read by the second CPU. So for outputs, only one CPU can have write access.
