I'm trying to get clarification about this manual, Industrial Ethernet / PROFIBUS
IE/PB LINK Operating Instructions - C79000-G8976-C393-06. In this manual, it shows that I can put a DP/PA Gateway behind an IEPB Link HA. I have tried this with a non-HA Link and it worked, but folks at Siemens have told me that this is incorrect. Is this manual incorrect or is this possible? Please be as detailed as possible.
