Looks like Freeport (meaning, freely configurable, at least that's how I interpret it) is the correct configuration for your CM1241 port. It will not natively understand every possible communications protocol, but will allow you to configure the hardware to get the correct voltages, baud rates, stop bits, parity bits, and so on, and whether it is full or half duplex. If you are only sending, build your data packet as you show below with bytes stuffed into the data buffer (DB) provided to the PTP Send instruction. If you need to receive data, you need to configure the port to know how data is to be sent, with characteristics like the start of a new message always contains byte 02 (hex or decimal?), and ends after a certain amount of time has passed.
